The Watercress Line has announced that it’s popular Christmas Leave event will be making a return this year.
The 1940s experience returns on 26-27 December, inviting guests to experience the atmosphere of a 1940’s Christmas on the railway.
Visitors will join civilian and military re-enactors at the Watercress Line’s period stations, where there will also be live 1940s music.
An Air Raid Precaution (ARP) display will also take place at Alresford, wartime games at Alresford Goods Shed and much more makes this a cracking day out for the whole family.
