Leaving college and don’t know what to do? Always wanted to work on the railways? Fancy a career change? Any of these and more would be excellent reasons to consider applying for a level 3 apprenticeship with Network Rail!
Applications are now open for a March 2020 start to Network Rail’s apprenticeship program for the South East region, but if this might interest you, don’t hesitate to apply! Applications will close once all the places have been filled.
The Network Rail apprenticeship scheme is aimed at providing people aged 18 and over a 3-year training course, mixing classroom-based learning with on the job training, resulting in a qualification in engineering accredited by Edexcel, City & Guilds and ILM, but also providing a good base for further qualifications.
As part of the course, you will complete technical and leadership training modules at Network Rail’s engineering training centres around the country, taught by experienced rail workers, as well as gaining practical experience and knowledge about the entire railway network, and learning how to keep Britain’s railways safe and reliable.
