The Stanier Mogul Fund has announced that its Stanier Mogul steam locomotive number 13268 has been re-wheeled as part of its ongoing overhaul.
The re-wheeling is a huge milestone for the Stanier Mogul team to reach and this means that the steam locomotive is now one step closer through its overhaul to returning to passenger service!
13268 is currently undergoing a 10-yearly overhaul at the Severn Valley Railway, in Bridgnorth.
13268 was withdrawn from service in 2012 after its boiler certificate after being on mainline and visiting a number of heritage railways.
