The WD 554 Sir William McAlpine Appeal has announced that 554 Sir William McAlpine will be on display this weekend.

The locomotive will be on display as part of the Autumn Steam Gala at the Bo’ness and Kinneil Railway.

Visitors to the gala will be able to find the locomotive parked in the Bay Platform at Bo’ness.

You can also meet the team behind the appeal and also support the locomotive’s restoration.

Home baking and merchandise is also expected to be available to raise the vital funds needed to overhaul this lovely locomotive.

This will be the last time that the loco will be on display before the heavy overhaul starts!
