Steam locomotive 35028 Clan Line will be back in steam on the mainline and will be in London and Bristol on Wednesday 11th September 2019.
The Merchant Navy locomotive is on a special railtour. 35028 is hauling ‘The Belmond British Pullman’ railtour on Wednesday.
The steam locomotive will depart London Victoria at approximately 08:45.
The railtour will then leave London Victoria, bound for Bristol Temple Meads, where it will pass through Clapham Junction (09:01), Staines (09:32), Bracknell (09:56), Wokingham (10:17), Reading (10:29), Didcot Parkway (10:55), Swindon (11:53), Chippenham (12:21), Bath Spa (12:40) and Bristol Temple Meads (13:08).
The return journey will depart Bristol Temple Meads at 17:10 and will pass through Bath Spa (17:28), Swindon (18:07), Didcot Parkway (19:15), Reading (19:34), Ascot (19:57), Staines (20:16), Twickenham (20:30), Richmond (20:37), Clapham Junction (20:54), and London Victoria (21:09).
