44871 is on the mainline today as it moves to Carnforth ready for its trip to Bo’ness tomorrow.

This is part of a two day trip from Southern England to Scotland ready for the SRPS railtour on Sunday.

Departing Southall Wcr at 10:19, the locomotive will pass Hanwell (10:59), Ealing Broadway (11:02), Wembley Central (11:35), Watford Junction (11:45), Hemel Hempstead (11:52), Tring (12:03), Leighton Buzzard (12:13), Milton Keynes Central (12:29), Northampton (12:47), Rugby (13:11), (13:54), Tamworth (14:10), Colwich (14:29), Stafford (14:46), Crewe (15:50), Stockport (17:13), Denton (19:14), Miles Platting (20:27), Manchester Victoria (20:31), Eccles (20:49), Wigan North Western (21:19), Preston (21:50), Lancaster (22:30), Carnforth (22:37) and Carnforth Steamtown at 23:09.
