Steam locomotive 35028 Clan Line passing through Banbury this Wednesday

Steam locomotive 35028 Clan Line will be back in steam on the mainline and will be in London and Stratford-upon-Avon on Wednesday 10th July 2019.

The Merchant Navy locomotive is on a special railtour. 35028 is hauling ‘The Belmond British Pullman’ railtour on Wednesday.

The steam locomotive will depart London Victoria at approximately 08:45.

The railtour will then leave London Victoria, bound for Warwick Parkway, where it will pass through Clapham Junction (09:03), Staines (09:33), Wokingham (10:10), Reading (10:25), Didcot Parkway (10:53), Oxford (11:42), Heyford (11:54), Banbury (12:10) and Warwick Parkway (12:45).

From Warwick Parkway, it will pass through Hatton (13:08) and Dorridge (13:50) before arriving at Tyseley LMD. Leaving here at 16:09, the train will pass through Whitlocks End (16:24) and Henley-in-Arden (16:40) before arriving into Stratford-in-Avon at 16:53.

Departing Stratford at 17:15, the train will pass through Hatton (17:40), Fenny Compton (18:06), Banbury (18:40), Heyford (19:12), Oxford (19:24), Reading (20:21), Twyford (20:27), Slough (20:39), Acton Main Line (20:54), Kensington Olympia (21:14) and London Victoria at 21:30.
