Steam locomotive No.35018 British India Line will be back in steam on the mainline and will be passing through Basingstoke and Bournemouth on Saturday 6th July 2019.

The Merchant Navy Class locomotive is on a railtour this Saturday. 34046 is hauling a tour from London Victoria to Weymouth.

The locomotive will depart London Victoria at 08:46, and will then pass through Clapham Junction (09:03), Brentford (09:15), Feltham (09:25), Woking (10:03), Farnborough (10:19), Winchfield (10:28), Basingstoke (10:52), Eastleigh (11:24), Southampton Central (11:46), Beaulieu Road (12:06), Bournemouth (12:47), Poole (13:02), Wareham (13:17), Moreton (13:23) and Weymouth (13:47).

The return journey will see the locomotive depart Weymouth at 16:35, and will then pass through Moreton (16:57), Poole (17:27), Bournemouth (17:47), Southampton Central (18:22), Dean (18:54), Andover (19:26), Basingstoke (19:52), Brookwood (20:28), Woking (20:46), Staines (21:16), Richmond (21:38), Clapham Junction (21:53) and London Victoria at 22:07.
