Direct Rail Services will be holding their annual open day this July as it opens its doors to the public.

The Open Day will take place at DRS’ Kingmoor Depot in Carlisle on Saturday 20th July 2019 from 10 am – 4 pm.

This open day provides the perfect day out for the family as you get to look behind the scenes, with a variety of locomotives on show, including their Class 88.

Tickets are available on the DRS Shop, by clicking here or you can pay at the gate. Entry is priced at £5.00 (Under 16’s FREE – must be accompanied by an adult at all times).

All proceeds from this event are used to aid UK Charities and other deserving community causes.

If you are taking the bus, from Carlisle Railway Station you can take Stagecoach bus 76 from The Courts and get off at The Redfern Inn. Kingmoor Depot is a short walk from this stop.

Or there is a special shuttle bus from Carlisle Railway Station to The Redfern Inn at a cost of £2 each way starting at 8.30am throughout the day.

There is limited parking at Kingmoor Depot and means there is no car parking for the event. Please click here for a link to the public car parks in Carlisle.
