One for the night owls today as a poorly 6233 Duchess of Sutherland returns home to the Midland Railway Centre.
Departing Rugby D.E.D at 22:48, the locomotive, most likely hauled by a diesel locomotive, will pass through Rugby (22:53), Nuneaton (23:25), Tamworth (23:46), Rugeley Trent Valley (00:09) and Stafford (00:27).
From Stafford, the locomotive will head via Rugeley Trent Valley (01:53), Burton-on-Trent (02:37), Castle Donington (03:04), Ilkeston (03:26) and Butterley M.R.C. at 03:51.
We must advise this is a light engine run, and can be delayed, cancelled or changed at very short notice.
