The Mid Hants Railway has announced that the Alresford shop will be relaunching the book: ‘Mid Haunts Railway from Construction to Closure’.

The book is a comprehensive history of the line from its opening up until it was closed in 1973.

This book was written by author Roger Hardingham who will be book signing over the weekend.

There will be signings on both days of the weekend. Times are yet to be confirmed.

Make sure to visit their website for the times when they are confirmed.

Of course, this is in addition to the steam trains, which are running over the weekend. This weekend also sees SR 506 return to service. Click here for more information.
