LNER B1 No.1264 will be on the mainline this Wednesday as it prepares to join in the fun of the Great Britain tour.
The B1 will be moving from the North Yorkshire Moors Railway to Joppa Straight, in Scotland.
Departing Grosmont at 07:50, the locomotive will pass through Glaisdale (08:02), Castleton Moor (08:31), Battersby (08:53), Nunthorpe (10:25), Middlesborough (10:58), Stockton (11:35), Durham (12:55), Chester-le-Street (13:01), Newcastle (13:22).
From Newcastle, the locomotive will head via Morpeth (14:18), Chathill (14:47), Berwick-upon-Tweed (15:14), Dunbar (16:23), Wallyford (17:34) and Joppa Straight at 17:50.
