Steam locomotive 6233 Duchess of Sutherland will be out on the mainline tomorrow as it hauls Day 1 of the Railway Touring Company’s Great Britain tour.
This 9-day tour will take in some stunning scenery and will see different locomotives haul the train throughout its journey.
Departing London Paddington at 08:05, 6233 will pass through Ealing Broadway (08:15), Southall (08:22), Hayes and Harlington (08:27), Slough (08:36), Maidenhead (08:42), Twyford (08:50) and Reading (08:58).
Departure from Reading will see the tour head via Cholsey (09:18(, Didcot Parkway (09:26), Swindon (10:18), Bath Spa (10:51), Bristol Temple Meads (11:33), Yatton (12:16), Taunton (13:05), Tiverton Parkway (13:37), Exeter St Davids (14:01), Dawlish (14:37), Totnes (15:00) and finally Plymouth at 15:30.
