The Open House Weekend returns to the Severn Valley Railway this weekend, with a wide array of model railway layouts.

Up to 30 layouts will be on display in the carriage works at Kidderminster, and also at The Engine House at Highley.

An intensive steam and diesel service will be in operation this weekend, allowing you to explore some of the intermediate stations along the line.

The carriage works and signal box at Kidderminster will be open for your enjoyment, as well as the carriage yard at Bewdley and the MPD (motive power depot) at Bridgnorth.

Miniature railways at Hampton Loade and Kidderminster will also be running too.

Timetables for the event and all the information about the attractions can be found by clicking here.

Fares for this event are £22 for adults, £14.50 for children of members, and £49 for family (2 adults + 2, 3 or 4 children).
