Where and when to see steam locomotive 61306 Mayflower in Bath this Thursday

Steam locomotive 61306 Mayflower will be back in steam on the mainline and will be in London and Salisbury on Thursday 7th March 2019.

The B1 locomotive is on a special railtour tomorrow. 61306 is hauling ‘The Cathedrals Express’ railtour on Thursday.

The steam locomotive will depart London Victoria at approximately 08:47 am.

The railtour will then leave London Victoria, bound for Egham, where it will pass through Clapham Junction (08:59), Putney (09:04), Brentford (09:14), Ashford (09:29) and Staines at 09:31 before arriving into Egham at 09:38.

From Egham, the locomotive will pass through Chertsey (09:50), Woking (10:05), Winchfield (10:47), Basingstoke (11:12), Andover (11:37) and Salisbury (11:59).

After a stop at Salisbury, the tour will continue via Bradford-on-Avon (13:06), Bath Spa (13:21) and finally Bristol Temple Meads at 13:42.

On the return journey, 61306 Mayflower will depart Bristol Temple Meads at 16:38 before heading via Keynsham (16:46), Bath Spa (16:55), Warminster (17:38), Salisbury (18:04), Andover (18:51), Basingstoke (19:14), Woking (19:14), Egham (20:37), Clapham Junction (21:23) before arriving to London Victoria at 21:39.
