Sunday 10th March saw the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway host their annual Spring Steam Gala
Over the weekend of the 8th, 9th & 10th March 2019, the Keighley and Worth Valley hosted their first gala of the year.
This gala featured 1 guest engine being LMS Ivatt 2MT Locomotive No. 46521 visiting courtesy of the Loughborough Standard Locomotive Group & the Great Central Railway
This gala was a busy gala featuring passenger trains, freight trains, & the very popular non-stop express 10th March being a Bahamas Locomotive Society express non stop from Keighley to Oxenhope double-headed by LNWR Webb Coal Tank Locomotive No. 1054 & LMS Jubilee Locomotive No. 45596 Bahamas
This gala would be the first time 45596 Bahamas has run at a gala since the 1990s and also the first time BR Standard 2 Locomotive No. 78022 has run at a gala since 2000
