Steam locomotive No.60009 Union of South Africa will be back in steam on the mainline and will be in London and Worcester on Saturday 16th February 2019.

The A4 locomotive is on a special rail tour from London Paddington to Worcester.

The steam locomotive will depart the London Paddington at approximately 07:40 am.

The railtour will then leave the London Paddington, bound for Worcester, where it will steam through Southall (07:55), Slough (08:06), Maidenhead (08:13) and Twyford (08:20) before stopping at Reading at 08:29.

After a 6-minute break, the locomotive will depart Reading for Worcester, where it will stop at Didcot Parkway (09:01), and Cheltenham High Street Loop (11:09).

The steam locomotive will arrive at Worcester Shrub Hill at 11:50.

Departing Worcester Shrub Hill at 16:31, the train will take a different route back to London Paddington. The train will steam through Charlbury (17:34), Oxford (18:13), Didcot Parkway (18:36), Reading (19:05), Slough (19:45) and Ealing Broadway (20:06) before arriving back into London Paddington at 20:24.
