South Western Railway has announced that one of their train guards will be pursuing his dream and won’t be waking passengers up on the train.
Steve Mitchell has been serving passengers on trains for more than 16 years. However, he has just set off on an unfamiliar round trip as he becomes the leading performer in a touring musical show.
The show, named “The George Michael Story”, tells the story of the musical great from day one of his career.
This is a must-see for any George Michael fan, the show will be performed at major theatres across the U.K.
Steve will be familiar to passengers from stations as far as Staines, Waterloo, Richmond, Kingston, Hounslow, Weybridge, Woking and right across the Reading and Ascot and Windsor and Eton Riverside lines.
Tour dates, videos and more can be found at the George Michael Story website.
Five per cent of show profits will be donated to George Michael’s charities.

Good luck to him.
But I hope that SWR can sort out the staff and staff and not go on strike all the time just like Northern who are always planning having strikes.
