New drivers assitant at the Elsecar Railway

The Elsecar Railway has announced that one of their youngest members has qualified as a member of the footplate crew.

Rob has qualified as a Driver’s Assitant. This is a critical role when operating heritage railway stock.

He is one of the Elsecar Railways youngest members and is a much-needed addition to the team.

This shows that the heritage railway welcomes help from any age.
