The Groudle Glen Railway have announced that the lower footpath from the beach carpark has been upgraded.

Groudle Glen has common complaints from visitors about the footpaths to the railway. However, the glen is owned by different bodies so this is difficult to improve.

A substantial improvement has been made to the lower footpath.

The work is thanks to the Isle of Man Government’s Department and their teams to improve the path after years of flood damage.

The result is superb and puts other paths to shame.

Hopefully, the improved path stays in such good condition.
