Blast Pipe Productions have announced that their latest reskin (a class 800) for Train Simulator has been released and is available for download.
The reskin allows you to drive a Class 800 Intercity Express Train (or Azuma as London North Eastern Railway has called them).
However, the reskin changes the livery into a fictional LNER Coronation Blue, one not seen on a train before – and we think it looks brilliant!
The edited reskin brings the decals up to 4K quality, which makes it look superb as your speeding up the East Coast Mainline to London Kings Cross.
This is a first for the Blast Pipe Production team. It’s their first electric train, and we think it’s a great first train to start with!
How much does it cost? What other packs do I need?
The cost of this superb reskin is £0 – yes its absolutely free! All you need is the East Coast Main Line London-Peterborough Route Add-On from steam – click here for that pack.
If you have the pack installed, you can go ahead and download the reskin from the Blast Pipe Productions website by clicking here.

It does look really good. But the real one will look a lot better when the Class 800 and Class 801 Azuma will start being introduced on the ECML from next year.
