The Doncaster P2 Locomotive Trust will be holding a Coffee Morning and Presentation to allow people to get to know more about the project.

Being held on Thursday 9th August 2018 between 10 am and 4:30 pm, the presentation will have a Questions and Answers section after the presentation.

The presentation will be held from 2 – 4:30 pm.

The event will be being held at the St James Church (The Railway Church), which can be found at St Sepulchre Gate in Doncaster.

There is a large car park behind the church to allow you to park your car and attend this event.

Refreshments will be available for a donation.

  1. P2 72001 COCK O’ THE NORTH was steamlined by Sir Nigel Gresley when it came to Doncaster in 1938 for its major overhaul. This is the version being built by Doncaster P2 Locomotive Trust – not the original as in your photograph. There is an official 1938 photograph of 2001 COCK O’ THE NORTH after outshopping from Doncaster Plant Works. It would be preferable if this was used rather than the 1934 photograph.
