The Corris Railway will be staging a two-day event themed around the Old West of the USA. This is to be held on Saturday, 4th August and Sunday 5th August 2018.

People aged under 15 who arrive at Corris Station in cowboy or cowgirl outfits will enjoy a free steam train ride to and from Maespoeth Junction.

At Maespoeth, there will be a variety of children’s activities, including story-telling, splat the rat and cactus hoopla. There will also be craft activities to be tried and homemade refreshments, featuring cowboy biscuits (only whilst stock lasts).

Trains will leave Corris on the hour every hour between 11 am and 4 pm.

The station can be found in the middle of the village and can be found by leaving the A487 Machynlleth – Dolgellau road at the Braich Goch Inn.

Can’t make this event? Trains will also be running on Monday 6th August 2018 and Tuesday 7th August 2018 but without the Wild West events.
