The Keighley and Worth Valley Railway have announced which locomotives will be in operation this week, which helps plan your days out if you are on holiday in the area.

Despite the rain this week, the fire risk continues, and the lineside areas are still very dry, however, despite this, the don’t have a steam ban in place and steam trains will continue this place.

This week sees the introduction of the Orange Timetable and will see the first train leave Oxenhope at 10 am hauled by BR Ivatt Tank No. 41241 in its KWVR livery. More information on the Orange Timetable can be found by clicking here.

The Orange Timetable will also see the introduction of the open top bus tour. This will operate on dry days to provide unrivalled views of the countryside.
