The Foxfield Railway have announced that the Heritage Lottery Funded Brookes No.1 will be visiting the railway for their Summer Gala.
No.1 will be visited the Foxfield Railway from the Middleton Railway for the gala, which is being held on the 21st and 22nd July 2018.
Brookes No.1 joins the home fleet of locomotives to celebrate the last weekend of Bellerophon in action ahead of a full overhaul.
The railway’s gala will see freight trains working up the 1 in 19 gradient out of Foxfield Colliery and an intensive passenger timetable from Caverswall Road Station.
Dubs steam crane will be completing lifting demonstrations throughout the weekend.
