The Merseyside Tramway Preservation Society has announced their confirmed re-opening date for the Tramway Museum.
The museum closed in December for a six-month major refurbishment. The society has now announced their re-opening date as the 21st July 2018 at 1 pm.
You may remember we announced that the reopening had been delayed, it originally was meant to be the 26th May 2018, but unfortunately, this wasn’t meant to be.
Inside the building, there have been some changes, including, a new entrance foyer, new cafe, new toilets (male, female, and disabled), new exhibition and workshop spaces, a new upper mezzanine viewing area and full disabled access with their new lifts and carers steps.
This means that now everyone can enjoy what the museum has to offer.
Full weekend running, including extended running days during school holidays, will also resume on the 21st July 2018.
