Where and when to see steam locomotive 35028 Clan Line in and around Bristol tomorrow

Steam locomotive 35028 Clan Line will be back in steam on the mainline and will be in Bristol on Sunday 17th May 2018.

The Merchant Navy locomotive is on a special railtour tomorrow. 35028 is hauling ‘The Cornishman’ railtour on Sunday. The tour sees the locomotive travel into Cornwall for the very first time.

The steam locomotive will depart Bristol Temple Meads at approximately 08:03 am.

The railtour will then leave London Paddington, bound for Oxford, where it will make stops at Yatton (08:20), Weston-super-Mare (08:36), Taunton (09:09), and Exeter St Davids (10:19).

From Exeter St Davids, 35028 Clan Line will steam through Dawlish (10:36), Teignmouth (10:39) and Totnes (10:56) before arriving into Plymouth at 11:31.

After a 20 minute break in Plymouth, 35028 Clan Line will depart Plymouth at 11:51, it will then steam through Saltash at 12:00 before making another stop at Liskeard at 12:19. After another stop at Bodmin Parkway at 12:36, 35028 Clan Line will arrive at her final destination of Par at 12:55.

Passengers will then spend a couple of hours in Par, after which Clan Line will depart for Bristol Temple Meads at 17:31. The train returns via Bodmin Parkway (17:46), Liskeard (18:06), Plymouth (18:36), Exeter St Davids (20:20), Taunton (21:16), Weston-super-Mare (21:49) and Yatton (22:02) before it makes its final destination of Bristol Temple Meads, where it will arrive at 22:24.
