The Chinnor and Princes Risborough Railway have announced that steam trains are set to return to Princes Risborough Platform 4 in August.

Platform 4 at Princes Risborough will officially open to passenger services on Wednesday 15th August when train services to Chinnor start running again after a lengthy construction period.

Tickets for the first trains into the platform will go on sale on the 1st July 2018 when full details of services and Chiltern Railways through tickets will go live.

Booking is essential for the first public services on Wednesday 15th August.

Since the construction of the new platform at Princes Risborough, trains have ‘top and tailed’ between Chinnor and the siding at Princes Risborough, this is because there has not been a run around loop for engines to go to the other end of their train.
