The Bala Lake Railway have announced that steam locomotive Palmerston has arrived Llanuwchllyn ahead of their ‘visiting engines’ event.
Palmerston visits the narrow gauge railway from the Ffestiniog Railway and will be hauling trains alongside Gwynedd and Marchllyn.
The reason for Palmerston visiting the Bala Lake Railway is because all of their resident steam locomotives are leaving the railway to visit the Ffestiniog Railway for their Hunslet 125 Gala this weekend. More information on that gala here.
Palmerston will be hauling trains at the Bala Lake Railway on Thursday 21st June, Saturday 23rd June and Sunday 24th June 2018.
