Heathrow Express has announced that to celebrate its 20th birthday, it is offering free travel to 20-year-olds this weekend.

Heathrow Express turns 20 on Saturday and will be offering the free travel on both Saturday and Sunday this weekend to 20-year-olds who bring ID with them.

The milestone comes days after Heathrow Express was named joint top performer in the National Rail Passenger Survey for Spring 2018 – more on that here.

Heathrow Express has its future guaranteed until at least 2028, so is set to continue operating the fastest route between London Paddington and Heathrow Central.

What did the officials say?

Heathrow Express Director, Fraser Brown said:

“With almost half of our customers aged under 35, we’re celebrating two decades of being the fastest way between London Paddington and Heathrow Central by inviting anyone who’s 20 to enjoy free travel on our services this weekend.”
