Here is our latest video over on our YouTube channel, showcasing the East Lancashire Railway and their Class 40s at 60 gala.

The event was held over the weekend of 13th-15th April 2018 and saw no less than 5 Class 40 locomotives in action, and was supported by visiting Class 55 55009 Alycidon and resident Class 50 50015 Valiant.

Visiting locomotives for this event was No.40012 “Aureol”, No.D213 (40013) “Andania”, Class 55 ‘Deltic’ No.50009 “Alycidon”.

They supported the home fleet of locomotives of No.40106 “Atlantic Conveyor”, No.40135,  No.40145 and Class 50 No.50015 “Valiant”.
