The Corris Railway Society will be holding its Model Railway Exhibition at Y Plas in Machynlleth on the 25th and 26th August 2018.
The exhibition will feature narrow gauge layouts, with the most popular being ‘World’s End’ and ‘Hensbarrow Road’. ‘Walmer Bridge’ will be flying the flag for the 16mm garden scale layout.
‘The Depot’ and ‘Clough Street Sidings’ will show the dieselised railway of today and others will make up the four layouts strong fleet for 0 Gauge.
A lot more layout layouts will be confirmed nearer the time and will be put into our Events Calendar post when they are available.
Sales stands at the exhibition will include ‘Kates Glass’ which features various jewellery and also pre-owned model railway equipment, fundraisers for the new Falcon steam locomotive will also feature.
Trains will be running from Corris station on the re-opened section of the Railway on Saturday 25th, Sunday 26th, Monday 27th and Tuesday 28th August.
