This weekend, the Ffestiniog Railway is launching their brand new Pullman Coach No. 152 – meaning you can travel by steam train through the mountains whilst sat in luxury.

152, similar to carriage 150 – launched to celebrate the railways 150th birthday, now joins the fleet of carriages available to the public.

The addition to the fleet means every train on the Ffestiniog Railway now has a Pullman style 1st class carriage.

Carriage 152 will be launched this weekend (May Day Bank Holiday) and will be used on one of the two main sets of the carriages that make its way up to Blaenau Ffestiniog every day in the summer.

A seat on this luxury Pullman carriage costs £7 each way per person (plus your standard 3rd class ticket price).
