The Ruislip Lido Railway has announced that a major milestone has been reached this week when they took delivery of their new workshop building at Woody Bay.

The 12-inch narrow gauge railway has had many months of hard work by its staff and contractors to get this milestone complete.

Nine sections of the building were craned in and bolted together on the 24th April 2018.

There is still a lot of work to do, including track laying, fitting out the building and outside landscaping to make the building usable. This will go on for the next few months, but the building arriving certainly puts the railway on the right foot for completing this major project.
