The 92134 Facebook page has announced that 9F No.92134 has been loaded onto a lorry for transport to the North Yorkshire Moors Railway (NYMR).

Leaving the East Lancashire Railway (ELR)

92134 leaves the East Lancashire Railway after the line’s circumstances changing.

This change of circumstances has left the new start date for work on the locomotive in Spring 2019.

This meant the earliest that 92134 could enter traffic was Mid 2020.

With the boiler now in ticket after work at LNWR Crewe, the owning group want to finish 92134 as soon as possible.

Move to the North Yorkshire Moors Railway

After contracting a number of railways, the NYMR was able to finish the restoration of 92134, with the engine now travelling to the line by road.
