Arriva Trains Wales has announced that three opportunities have become available to join the train operating company’s fleet team in Cardiff and Machynlleth.
The TOC want to recruit people with a passion for engineering, good communication skills and also have the ability work as part of a team.
The train company has a proven track record of developing apprenticeships in all fields and they are now delighted to be able to offer three more people the opportunity to start on their career path.
The opportunity you will complete will involve an engineering apprenticeship in Traction and Rolling Stock. The training which you will complete will take 4 years during which you will gain a level 3 NVQ and complete an engineering qualification to the HNC or equivalent.
The starting salary for this apprenticeship is £15,000 increasing to £18,500 in year 2, £23,000 in year 3 and £28,500 in year 4.
