Please Do Not Travel…. A ScotRail warning to passengers

ScotRail will once again be winding down its train services early this evening (Friday 2nd March 2019). Tomorrow, 3rd March 2018, may see have to test the railway lines again before they are able to run trains again.

Below is the information on the last trains of the day this Friday evening (2nd March 2018).

Your train may be affected, please read below for more information – straight from the ScotRail website.

  • From Edinburgh
    • 21:05 for local stations to Dundee
      • Calling at: Haymarket, South Gyle, Edinburgh Gateway, Dalmeny, North Queensferry, Inverkeithing, Dalgety Bay, Aberdour, Burntisland, Kinghorn, Kirkcaldy, Markinch, Ladybank, Cupar and Leuchars.
    • 2143 to Aberdeen
    • 2200 to Glasgow Queen Street
  • From Glasgow Queen Street
    • 2200 to Edinburgh
  • From Dundee
    • 2214 for local stations to Edinburgh
      • Calling at: Leuchars, Cupar, Ladybank, Markinch, Kirkcaldy, Kinghorn, Burntisland, Aberdour, Dalgety Bay, Inverkeithing, North Queensferry, Dalmeny, Edinburgh Gateway, South Gyle and Haymarket

These routes are operating a limited service:

Glasgow Queen Street (high level) – Edinburgh via Falkirk High

These will run half-hourly. Departing Glasgow Queen Street at half past and on the hour, and departing Edinburgh Waverley at 15 and 45 minutes past the hour.
All trains will call at Bishopbriggs, Lenzie, Croy, Falkirk High, Polmont, Linlithgow, Edinburgh Park and Haymarket in both directions.
Glasgow Central (high level) – Ayr

These will depart at 04 minutes and 34 minutes past the hour from Glasgow Central and at 06 and 36 minutes past the hour from Ayr

Glasgow Central (high level) to Kilmarnock

These will depart at 13 minutes past the hour from Glasgow Central, and 58 minutes past the hour from Kilmarnock.

These services will call additionally at Barrhead.

Edinburgh to Aberdeen

These will depart at 30 minutes past the hour from Edinburgh, and just after ‘on the hour’ from Aberdeen.

Aberdeen – Inverness

Inverness – Perth

Inverness – Kyle of Lochalsh

Ayr to Stranraer

The following routes will be suspended all day and possibly into tomorrow:

  • Dumbarton Central/Milngavie to Motherwell/Cumbernauld
  • Larkhall to Milngavie
  • Balloch to Airdrie

To/From Inverness

  • Inverness to Wick
