The Great Laxey Mine Railway, on the Isle of Man, will be attending the ‘Volunteers Week, The Big Event’ this coming Saturday, the 24th February 2018.
The Volunteers’ Week is a celebration, which takes place annually, of the contribution of hundreds, if not thousands, of volunteers make across the Isle of Man.
This years ‘Big Volunteer Recruitment Event’ is taking place between 10 am and 2 pm on the 24th February 2018 at the Sefton Hotel Garden Room.
Volunteers from the Great Laxey Mine Railway will be at the event. Why not pop down and see if there is anything you can do to help this lovely railway?
About the Great Laxey Mine Railway
The Great Laxey Mine Railway was originally built to serve the Laxey Mine, which is a lead mine located in Laxey. The preserved line is a narrow gauge (19inch) railway and is ¼ of a mile long in length.
