Upcoming Events
West Shed will next be open in February Half Term (From Monday 19th to Friday 23rd of February), with plenty of family actives taking place, such as craft activities. This includes

46233 “Duchess of Sutherland”
On further examination at West Shed, it has been found that 21 (out of 40) flue tubes have cracks and need replacing. With this extra workload, the decision has been made to carry out all necessary work for a new boiler ticket to be issued for 46233, instead of running until the current ticket is out in 2021.
Once the work has been completed, the Duchess is set to return with its new boiler ticket around June/July 2018. 46233 will appear in its new livery of LMS Crimson Lake and will be hauling mainline tours, mainly for Steam Dreams and The Railway Touring Company.
PMR Tours
Due to various factors, PMR Tours can’t confirm any tours with the Duchess for the first 6 months of 2018. Further announcements will be made later in the year.
