The London Museum Of Water And Steam has announced that during the months of January and February 2018, it will have different opening times this winter.
The museum, which sees visitors all year round for their engines and steam train rides, will be open every week Wednesday until Sunday.
The new opening hours are allowing the museum to complete some repairs and maintenance to their engines to make sure they are in tip-top condition for the coming months.
The museum will be open every day during the February Half Term, a perfect day out for the whole family.
The new opening times are as follows:
- Wednesday – Friday: 10.00am – 3.00pm
- Weekends and daily during school holidays: 10.00am – 4.00pm
The popular Waterworks Railway will be closed until the February half term, this is to allow the museum to work on Thomas Wicksteed, the railway’s resident engine. They will also have the opportunity to complete work on their track.
LMWS and their railway will be back raring to go on the 11th February and will be running every day during their Spectacular Science Half Term Special.
