Commuters using Greater Anglia services will see a warm welcome upon returning home to Reedham station tomorrow (15th December 2017).
Passengers will alight to carol singing, mulled wine and mince pies as the Stations Adopters gather together to spread some festive cheer and hopefully raise some money for charity.
The team of volunteers, who are local to the station, will be holding their annual Christmas Carols event lead by Rev. Lorna Allies from 6 pm. All proceeds go to EACH (East Anglian Children’s Hospice).
Everyone is invited to join in the fun at the station on Wherry Lines between Norwich and Great Yarmouth.
Tasty refreshments such as sausage rolls, tea, and coffee will also be on offer.
What did the officials say?
Greater Anglia‘s Area Customer Service Manager, James Reeve, said, “Reedham station continues to go from strength to strength thanks to the dedication of our fantastic team of adopters in putting the station at the heart of the community. I hope that they raise a lot for EACH with this lovely event. What a wonderful way to return home if you travel back to Reedham by train!”

Hi RailAdvent, could you get the correct picture of Reedham please? I work at the signal box and unless they’ve introduced electrics and changed the units to 317s since last night, this isn’t a relevant photo.
Thanks.
