Churnet Valley Railway is holding a winter warmer event and is running three days of special trains over the last weekend of 2017 and the first day of 2018.
This event runs on Saturday 30th, Sunday 31th of December and Monday 1st of January. The line will be running trains all the way from Froghill to Ipstones Loop and return, stopping at Consall and Cheddleton on the way. The services will be hauled by visiting GWR 42XX Tank No. 4277, who’s Boiler Ticket is due to expire in a couple of months.
