As the nights draw in and the temperature drops, it can be hard to think of something to do on a cold weekend. Fear not! The National Railway Museum is open up until Christmas!
The National Railway Museum, in York, is open every day from 10 am to 5 pm. (Excluding 24/25/26th December).
The NRM has Christmas Crafts Drop-in activities happening every day as well as creating your own Christmas tale in their Festive Imagination Station – fun for under 6s and their families.
Hungry? Why not treat yourself to a festive slice and a tea or coffee – only £3! This is served in the Mallard Cafe and Dining Car restaurant.
Visit the giant Christmas tree in the middle of all the iconic locomotives in the Great Hall. The tree has been decorated with ornaments made by pupils at schools across the region!
