ScotRail have revealed their Halloween costume for 2017, with them rebranding some of their Class 170 trains for the seasonal event.
The carriages feature the ScotRail logo with alterations that features ghouls, pumpkins, bats and witches.
The rebranded Ghost Trains will serve the Edinburgh – Glasgow Queen Street via Falkirk route. Other routes are below until the start of november.
Syeda Ghufran, who is head of engineering projects at ScotRail, said “If you’re dressing up this Hallowe’en, have a scream but stay safe. Please remember to store your broomsticks in the luggage racks provided, and customers are reminded to speak to a member of staff if they see any unaccompanied ghouls, ghosts or zombies.”
Where to see the Ghost Trains
The themed trains will serve the following routes:
- Edinburgh to Glasgow Queen Street
- Glasgow and Edinurgh to Aberdeen
- Edinburgh and Glasgow to Inverness
- Edinburgh and Glasgow to Perth and Dundee
Which Units Are Being Redesigned?
The units featuring the Halloween design are 170425, 170428, 170430, 170433 (being rebranded week commencing 23/10/2017) and 170450.
