Richard Branson has announced the worlds most revolutionary train service – Hyperloop One. This is a Virgin Group investment.

This railway moves people and things around at airline speeds on the ground.

Virgin Hyperloop One carries passengers and cargo in a pod and accelerate them gradually via an electric propulsion through a low pressure tube.

Sir Richard Branson says “the pod quickly lifts above the track and glids with ultra-low aerodynamic drag”

The technology for Hyerloop One is in the early stages of commercialisation after successful testing near Las Vegas.

During phase two of testing, the Hyperloop reached a top speed of 192 mph
