London Midland, along with Watford Borough Council, have upgraded Watford Junctions capacity for Cyclists using the station.
The upgrading spaces now mean that there is 142 additional spaces for them to be parked.
How have they done it?
This comes after the council have just installed a new two tier shelter and four new cycle stands outside the station.
London Midland will now be installing a purpose built cycle hub in the station, which will provide 104 spaces and it is being part funded by the County Council.
The new storage will also have CCTV for piece of mind.
What did the officials say?
London Midland’s head of West Coast services, Steve Helfet added “London Midland has been encouraging cyclists and investing in more facilities at stations for the last ten years. This scheme is a double win for Watford. It provides more spaces for cycles while making the front of the station more welcoming”.
