Featured Fridays returns this week, with our new series starting off with images from Liam Barnes and is a collection of images from his day taking photos at the recent Autumn Diesel Gala at the East Lancs Railway.

East Lancashire Railway Autumn Diesel Gala 2017

The diesel gala at the East Lancs Railway featured no less than 13 locomotives in action. These were D9531, D9537, D9551, D7629, 33109, D7076, 37109, 40106, 40135, 40145, D1501, 50015, 56006. Shuttles, passenger trains and double headers featured throughout the weekend.
