If you are looking for a job in North Yorkshire and like trains, then Newby Hall might just be for you.

Newby Hall is looking for a driver for their miniature railway. Their current driver David is retiring after 15 years driving.

David says “It’s a job in the great outdoors. Boasting spectacular views. A historic setting. And a company vehicle. And it’s a job that’s up for grabs.”

All the major work has been done and the railway is running smoothly.

The successful applicant needs to be able to maintain three trains and track.

They also need to look after the customers and keep the area tidy.

Newby Hall says David will be a hard act to follow and it’ll be the end of an era. But also says it hopes the new person will bring new ideas.
