c2c has been announced as the most punctual train operator in the United Kingdom. c2c operator trains in Essex and East London.

Between 20th August and 16th September, 96.1% of c2c trains arrived on time, which is the best in the UK and is better than the nationwide average of 89.3%.

c2c Managing Director Julian Drury said: “We put a huge focus on providing a punctual service that our customers can rely on and plan their lives around, and I’m really pleased that the dedication and hard work of all our staff has delivered this excellent result.”

He added “We’re aiming to continue offering a dependable train service while delivering this year’s £40m programme of passenger improvements, such as our new trains and free onboard WiFi.”
