Ffestiniog Railway Hunslet, Britomart, is set to visit the Vale of Rheidol Railway, in Aberystwyth, over their Roaring 20s/30s event on the 16/17th September 2017.
Britomart was built by Hunslet Locomotive Co in Leeds in 1899, works No.707. Britomart had a working life in the Pen-yr-Orsedd Quarry.
The Hunslet arrived at the Ffestiniog Railway in 1965 and steamed for the first time on the Welsh Narrow Gauge line a year later. Britomart is often seen around the railway, at special events hauling the smaller shuttles and giving footplate rides around Porthmadog.
